Managed AI operations for small business

The agent is the interface.

Your business gets its own named AI assistant. Built by us, trained on how you work, managed on your behalf. Email it, Slack it, Telegram it, the same way you'd message a team member. No dashboards to learn, no workflows to build. You ask. It handles the rest.

“Gordie, our perfectly named AI assistant, has been instrumental in launching our non-profit, For the Love of Hockey (FLHKY). Gordie worked off of a simple set of instructions while I focused on building the foundation, serving as my left hand man. Finding volunteers to support a start-up, yet alone a non-profit is a challenge. Gordie came right in and immediately started delivering outcomes in time frames I thought to be unimaginable.”

— Mike Lendino, Founder, For the Love of Hockey

First Sage & Co. client, live since April 2026

How it works

A week from the call to your first delivered task.

The discovery call

The call

A 45-minute discovery call. We map what your business actually does, what's eating your time, and what your assistant should handle first.

The onboarding form

The onboarding

You fill out an onboarding form — how you work, your brand voice, your tools, the people it represents you to. We build your assistant from it. Custom, not templated. Live in days.

Day one, delivering work

Day one

Your assistant is live with its own email address, ready on Slack and Telegram. You send it something. It sends work back — usually within 48 hours for the first real deliverable.

No new tools to learn. No dashboards. No setup. You message your assistant the way you message a teammate. It knows your business, remembers your preferences, and gets sharper over time.

The numbers

The ops team you couldn't hire. For less than one part-time salary.

Most small businesses skip half this list because the people are too expensive. A blog goes unwritten. Competitors go unmonitored. Reviews go unanswered. Your assistant handles what you'd need a five-person team to cover — for less than one of them would cost.

What you're paying for Typical monthly cost With Sage & Co.
Social media manager $1,200–$2,500/mo Your assistant handles it
Blog writer / SEO specialist $800–$2,000/mo Your assistant handles it
Virtual assistant $600–$2,000/mo Your assistant handles it
Customer service rep $1,500–$3,500/mo Your assistant handles it
Review monitoring + response $300–$800/mo Your assistant handles it
Total $4,400–$10,800/mo From $997/mo

Five jobs worth of work. One part-time retainer. No one to manage.

What it actually does

Real requests. Real replies. Real work, delivered.

Our first client, Mike Lendino, messages his assistant Gordie the same way he'd message a teammate. Here are three exhibits from his first month — each one started with a message and ended with something done.

Via email

A Bauer sponsorship pro-forma, delivered in 48 hours.

Mike had a sponsorship meeting with Bauer and needed numbers that would hold up in the room. He emailed Gordie one paragraph of context. No brief, no meeting, no back-and-forth.

Outcome: A full pro-forma with cost structure, activation scenarios, and ROI modeling — back in his inbox two days later. Used verbatim in the pitch.

Hey Gordie — meeting with Bauer next week. Can you put together a sponsorship pro-forma? Three activation tiers, first-year projections, and something that makes the ROI math obvious. Rough numbers are fine.

Tue 9:14 AM

On it. I'll benchmark against comparable youth-hockey sponsorships, build the three tiers, and circle back with a draft by Thursday.

Tue 9:16 AM

Draft pro-forma ready. Three tiers ($25K / $75K / $150K), first-year projections, ROI breakdown, and a one-page summary for the meeting.

A full competitor landscape, built over a weekend.

Mike dropped a question into Slack on a Friday afternoon: what does the rest of the non-profit youth-hockey space actually look like? By Monday, he had a landscape document his board could read.

Outcome: 14 organizations mapped, positioning gaps called out, and three whitespace opportunities FLHKY could own. Shaped the next quarter's strategy.

Gordie — quick one. Who are we actually competing with? I want a real map of the youth-hockey non-profit space. Who's doing what, where the gaps are, what we should own.

Fri 4:28 PM

Good question. I'll pull 12–15 organizations, map their programs and funding models, and flag where you have a real lane. Weekend work — have it for you Monday AM.

Fri 4:30 PM

Landscape done. 14 orgs, positioning map, three whitespace plays. The “community-first, equipment-funded” angle is wide open — no one owns it.

A month of LinkedIn content, drafted in one evening.

Mike hadn't posted in weeks. On a Tuesday evening he messaged Gordie from his phone, gave him three talking points he cared about, and asked for a month of posts in his voice.

Outcome: 12 posts drafted, calendared, and ready to schedule — matched to his cadence, his voice, and the stories he actually wants to tell.

G — need to get back on LinkedIn. Three themes: building a non-profit from zero, why equipment access is the real barrier, and lessons from year one. 3x/week for the next month. My voice.

Tue 8:47 PM

Got it. I'll pull from your past posts for voice, build 12 drafts across the three themes, and structure them as a month-long arc so it reads like a story, not a calendar.

Tue 8:48 PM

Done. 12 posts, 4 per theme, scheduled MWF for the next four weeks. Review when you have a minute — I'll queue whatever you approve.

None of this required a dashboard, a prompt library, or a workflow builder. Mike sent a message. Gordie got to work. That's the whole product.

Who's behind this

I run this system every day. Now I run it for you.

I spent 25 years as a programmer building websites and software for hundreds of businesses. When AI arrived, I didn't fight it. I rebuilt my entire operation around it.

Today I run my own businesses on the system I'm offering you. My assistant handles my research, my content, my follow-ups. I live in it daily, so I know exactly what works and what doesn't.

This isn't a side project or a platform I'm reselling. I built Sage & Co. because the small businesses I've been working with for 25 years didn't need better tools. They needed someone running the tools for them.

You're not buying software. You're hiring someone who does this every day, backed by AI that never sleeps.

Common questions

Everything you're wondering, answered.

Not at all. You communicate with your assistant the same way you'd send an email to a team member. We handle all the setup, configuration, and maintenance. You just send requests and receive results.
Every assistant gets a dedicated email address (name@agents.sageco.ai) and is reachable on Slack and Telegram from day one — all channels are included on every plan. You message your assistant the same way you'd message a teammate. It replies with the completed work. Most clients settle on one or two channels that fit how they already communicate.
Research competitors, write blog posts and social content, draft emails and marketing copy, build financial models and pro formas, update your WordPress site, respond to customer emails, monitor and respond to reviews, coordinate projects, track KPIs, and manage your files and documents. If it can be done on a computer, there's a good chance your assistant can handle it.
About a week. Day one is a 45-minute discovery call. Days two through five, you fill out an onboarding form and we build and provision your custom assistant from it. By end of week one, your assistant is live with its own email address. Most clients see their first real deliverable within 48 hours of going live.
Your assistant runs on our secure infrastructure. Your data, tasks, and workflows are isolated to your account, completely separate from other clients. You own your deliverables. If you ever leave, everything stays yours.
Tools like ChatGPT require you to sit there and prompt them every time you need something. Your Sage & Co. assistant works autonomously. It follows your workflows, executes tasks on its own, and emails you the results. It's the difference between owning a calculator and having a team member who handles it for you.
A limited-seat pilot — 10 seats total — at $997/mo + $497 setup, locked in for as long as you stay. Same assistant, same channels, same direct line to me. It exists because I want to go deep with the first ten businesses on the system, and I'd rather pay for that in price than in polish. When the seats are gone, the $1,997/mo plan becomes the starting point.
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel your monthly retainer at any time. Your deliverables and data remain yours. We'll help you transition if needed.
You have a direct line to Robb. Every plan includes regular check-ins, and we actively monitor your assistant's performance. If your assistant produces something that's not right, we catch it and fix it. That's what "managed" means.
Yes. During onboarding, you choose a name for your assistant. It's yours. It introduces itself by that name, uses it in replies, and represents your business.
